This patient in her 50s was 5’3” tall, weighed 135lb and wore a 32DD bra preoperatively. Over time her breasts descended moderately (stage I ptosis) and there was lack of upper fullness. She had ample breast tissue to cover breast implants so she chose a subfascial pocket, as she didn’t require the additional tissue coverage provided by a dual plane pocket. Also, using a pocket in front of the muscle avoided the potential risk of muscle animation (window-shading) that sometimes occurs with a dual plane pocket. The postop breast augmentation images were taken ten months later.
