I first met Dr. Andrade in 2013 for a scar revision surgery. At age 19, I was involved in a car accident that left me with multiple injuries including a fractured c2 vertebrae and having emergency abdominal surgery.
The emergency abdominal surgery and seat belt injury left me with severe disfiguration, which in my early 20s was psychologically debilitating. This, in turn, contributed to me gaining a significant amount of weight (over 240lbs).
After receiving OHIP-funded scar revision surgery on my abdomen, I was still unhappy with my appearance. Although I lost 50lbs since the scar revision, I met with Dr. Andrade in 2015 for a tummy tuck procedure.
That surgery completely changed my life. For the first time in my young adult life, I felt confident about myself. I started to care about how I looked and started caring about how I felt. The tummy tuck motivated me in my journey of losing half my body weight and becoming the healthiest I have ever been.
Fast forward to 2021, and after losing 125lbs, I needed Dr. Andrade’s help again!
My breasts had sagged significantly with the weight loss and Dr. Andrade changed my life again with a breast lift.
