Sometimes it is difficult to compare different surgeon’s fees when you are not sure what is included in their posted rates online. Some surgeons offer a basic fee then add extra costs over a flat rate. “Extras” may include anesthesia, follow-up visits, post-op care items etc. At The York Plastic Surgery Centre, we are transparent with all of our procedures prices on our Financing Page. We do not have hidden fees.
York Plastic Surgery Centre’s Competitive Prices
The York Plastic Surgery Centre offers competitive prices relative to the high standards of care provided. Our clinic is in Newmarket, Ontario (conveniently located off of Hwy 404). We are able to keep prices lower as we do not pay high rent or property fees as compared to downtown Toronto clinics. Also, Dr. Andrade owns his own surgical centre which enables him to directly control both the quality standards and surgical fees at the clinic.
Important Advice When Looking For a Plastic Surgeon
Patients should be skeptical of bargain pricing where fees seem too good to be true. For example, some out-of-country clinics do not hire board-certified anaesthesiologists to provide their anesthetics. Also, some travel tourism surgeons from abroad cut corners with surgery or do not offer post-op care, sending patients home soon after their surgeries. This leaves patients to fend for themselves if they have complications once they return home. It is important to do ample research when choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon. The College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSO) website www.cpso.ca posts the names of doctors who have complaints or have been reprimanded for misconduct.
Dr. Andrade has a 5-star rating on RateMDs and realself.com and his practice has a specialized focus on breast and body contouring surgeries.
