This patient developed modest skin excess on the upper eyelids that she wanted to fix. She underwent bilateral upper blepharoplasty surgery under local anesthetic. The procedure took approximately 75 minutes. She was back to work with only minor bruising five days after the procedure, and sutures were removed by Dr. Andrade 7 days postoperatively. Every patient will heal differently so patients should expect to have some bruising and/or swelling for up to 10-14 days. The postoperative photos are taken 10 weeks after surgery.
