Description
This patient in her 30s developed decreased upper breast fullness and lower nipple position (stage II ptosis) after pregnancy and breastfeeding. She wanted to restore her volume but was not concerned about having lower nipples so she did not want to have breast lift surgery. A subglandular pocket was used to avoid the so-called “waterfall deformity” that might occur with sub pectoral implants. The patient chose full profile 335g smooth round implants with an inframammary incision in a subglandular plane.
Breast implants: Allergan 335g full profile, smooth round gel implants
Scar: Inframammary incision
Implant pocket: Subglandular plane
Breast base width: 12.5cm
