Robbins Breast Lift 3
This 48yo women came to the clinic seeking breast lift surgery. She developed postpartum and age-related sagging (called ptosis). Since the skin was quite loose and the nipples were at the lowest part of the breasts (called stage III ptosis), Dr. Andrade recommended she have a “Robbins” mastopexy, which results in an anchor scar on the breast. This procedure involves removing a large amount of skin and reshaping the underlying breast tissue, including occasionally using internal sutures to achieve the desired shape. The postoperative photos were taken 8 months after surgery.
