This patient in her 30s underwent major weight loss after having a gastric bypass procedure. Her weight had stabilized at 170 pounds, she was 5’7” tall, BMI 26.6, and bra size 36C. She wished to have a tummy tuck with liposuction plus a mastopexy-reduction with only a small amount of breast tissue removed. We also removed excess skin rolls lateral to the breasts. Total mass of breast tissue excised was 116g on the right and 76g on the left. OHIP will not cover breast reduction surgery unless >500g of tissue is removed per side, and the patient is experiencing significant symptoms. The postoperative photos were taken at her appointment 14 months later.
