485g Breast Augmentation
This female patient wanted a substantial increase in breast size. She was 5’4” tall, weighed 155lbs (she recently lost 55lbs), and wore a 34B bra. On examination, she had mild nipple sagging (stage I ptosis), decreased upper breast fullness, and wider breasts with a base dimension of 15cm. She chose round “gummy bear” silicone gel implants for more upper fullness. I recommended moderate profile they have a wider base width like her breasts, which resulted in nice cleavage and a narrow gap between the breasts.
Breast implants: 485g smooth round moderate profile
Incision: inframammary fold
Pocket: Dual plane (to help “perk up” the nipples)
