This 51 year old female had successfully lost 35 pounds and prior to surgery her weight was stable at 195 pounds. She had a moderate amount of excess skin and fat, as well as a tethered c-section scar below the belly button. The tummy tuck removed a substantial amount of excess skin and fat, improved the contour of her waistline, and eliminated the vertical scar on the lower abdomen. In this photo this patient’s clothing has been pulled down to the hips. The scar is low on the abdomen, just above the pubic mound.
